| Attorney Marc S. Sedwick attended Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, Kentucky for about one year on a tennis scholarship. He then transferred to Indiana University at Bloomington where he finished his undergraduate studies. At Indiana University, Mr. Sedwick had a double major in Economics and Political Science and minored in Biology.
Upon graduating from Indiana University in 1996, Mr. Sedwick joined Nationwide Insurance, and I got licensed in the state of Indiana selling all types of insurance. He then operated as an insurance agent for approximately a year and then was hired by Travelers Insurance as an Environmental Toxic Tort Claims Representative. For six years Mr. Sedwick worked for insurance companies as a claims representative in dealing with Traveler’s policy holders with claims presented against Traveler’s Insurance. Mr. Sedwick was on the defense side for 6 years and I travelled around the country working with some very good lawyers on the defense bar that were defending against cases involving toxic substances. In 1999, while working for Traveler’s Insurance, Mr. SedwickI was admittedin to law school at the Indiana University School of Law at Indianapolis. He worked full-time during the day at Traveler’s and then attended law school in their four year program evening program. Mr. Sedwick also interned for a judge on the Indiana Court of Appeals and also interned for a federal judge in Indianapolis while attending law school. Mr. Sedwick graduated from law school in 2002, and accepted an associate attorney position with an Indianapolis defense firm in August of 2002. While at the defense firm, Mr. Sedwick handled nuerous automobile cases, motorcycle cases, insurance coverage cases, and quite a few other types of accident cases represnting the insurance defense side of the case. While at that firm Mr. Sedwick decided to open a law practice because he wanted to represent individuals who have been injured by the negligence or carelessness of others. The reason for his decision stemmed back to his work at Traveler’s Insurance where he witnessed how individuals were not getting full compensation for their injuries. These individuals were dealing with a large, structured insurance defense bar and they really needed someone to fight on their behalf to get them the compensation that they deserved. In August of 2003, Mr. Sedwick formed The Law Office of Marc S. Sedwick, P.C., and since August of 2003, their law firm has been fortunate enough to represent individuals who have been injured by the negligence and carelessness of others. Our law practice has handled motorcycle accidents, automobile injury cases, mold cases, workers’ compensation cases, medical malpractice cases, and a litany of other personal injury matters. |
